She was born April 6, 1937 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Fred Cecil and Thelma Wilhelmina (Major) Orender. On October 17, 1973 she was united in marriage to Elden Miller; he preceded her in death on June 1, 2008. She was a homemaker. Read More	Thelma Jane Miller, 77 of Pittsburg died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg. She was born April 6, 1937 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Fred Cecil and Thelma Wilhelmina (Major) Orender. On October 17, 1973 she was united in marriage to Elden Miller; he preceded her in death on June 1, 2008. She was a homemaker. She also worked at the Holiday Inn as a housekeeper and Pitt Plastics on the line. She was a member of the first Christian Church Disciples of Christ where she was involved with the Women's Disciples Group Survivors include two sons: Jeff Wiley of Pittsburg, Gregg and wife Sandy Wiley of Gardner, KS; a daughter Jayne Snider of Pittsburg; a stepdaughter: Kristie Cook of Wichita, KS, two stepsons: Kevin Miller of Wichita and Karl Miller of Wayne, NJ; two sisters: Edwina McDonough of Matawan, NJ and Tammie Carroll of Cincinnati, OH; a brother Dwight Orender of Pittsburg; Along with 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Don Wiley, two brothers: Cecil and Philip Orender. Funeral services will be 10 am, Saturday June 14, 2014 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home with Daryl Gaddy officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8pm Friday. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Services by the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S. Broadway Pittsburg, KS.
