She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Dwight & Eileen Gates of Cape Girardeau, Steve & Peggy Gates of Blodgett and Lester & Gail Gates of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Ann & Wayne Montgomery of Blodgett; one brother, Herschel Washburn of Benton; three sisters, Wanda Robart of Chicago, Illinois, Pat Carson of Bloomfield and Evelyn Washburn of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at Blodgett Baptist Church, where funeral services will be held Thursday, May 19, at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Allen Nichols, pastor of Blodgett Baptist Church, and Rev. Dennis Lowe, pastor of Unity Baptist Church in Benton, will co-officiate. Interment will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery at Blodgett, Missouri. Memorial donations may be sent to Blodgett Baptist Church, 211 E. Kew Street, Blodgett, MO 63824. Pallbearers will be Neil Gates, Chad Hutson, Ben Gates, Chase Vinson, Aaron Gilliland, Gavin Hutson, Cole Vinson, Lee Gates and Chris Gates.
