Description	:	Former Bremerton resident Ted E. Engebretson, 82, of Bellingham died April 21, 2000, in Bellingham. He was born Nov. 4, 1917, in Grand Junction, Colo., to Sherman and Sadie (Edris) Engebretson. He grew up in Bremerton, graduating from South Kitsap High School in 1936. Mr. Engebretson served in the Navy from 1946 to 1948. He received the World War II Victory Medal. He and his wife, Gladys, were married in September 1965 in Bremerton. A graveside service will be conducted by Memorial Lutheran Church at 1 p.m. May 11 at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park, with a reception following.
