Lowenbach, of Harrisonburg died at her home at Front Royal Sunday morning at 1:30. Although Mrs. Carroll has been in failing health for some time, her condition did not become critical until recently and her death came as a severe shock to her family and a wide circle of friends. Read More	Mrs. Theresa Lowenbach Carroll, wife of Arthur N. Carroll and a daughter of the late Jonas A. and Ann H. Lowenbach, of Harrisonburg died at her home at Front Royal Sunday morning at 1:30. Mrs. Carroll was born in Harrisonburg on January 17, 1873, in (1890? 1899? 1809?) (The newspaper is illegible.) she was united in marriage to Mr. Carroll and in 1906 they moved to Front Royal where they had since made their home. Mrs. Carroll was a devout member of the Methodist Church and lived a life of active Christian service. She was also a member of the (illegible) of Eastern Star and (illegible) at Front Royal. Mrs. Carroll was the last surviving child of Jonas Lowenbach who came to Harrisonburg from Germany and was a leading business man here. Her brothers, William M., Albert M. Lowenbach, died within the past three years. Funeral services will be held from the Front Royal Methodist Church at 1:30 this afternoon. Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery. She is survived by her husband and the following children, Mrs. Elizabeth (Illegible), of Front Royal, Andrew D. Carroll, of Staunton, Mrs. Cornelia Lutz, Conicville, Arthur L. Carroll, of Culpeper, Lester H. Carroll, of Front Royal, and Miss. Theresa Carroll, of Front Royal, 10 grandchildren, and 7 nieces and nephews.
