Mr. Robbins passed away Aug. 19 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. He was born Nov. 15, 1917 in Tiptonville to the late Willie B. and Alene Matheney Robbins. He was retired from CSX Railroad and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Camden. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Alice Robbins and Nellie Beatrice Robbins; one son, James Milton Robbins, one sister, Ozell Haywood and two brothers, W.J. Robbins and H.W. Robbins. Survivors include his wife, Mary Akers Robbins; one daughter-in-law, Opal Robbins of Camden; one sister, Estelle Cardettes of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, L.W. Robbins of Big Sandy and B.R. Robbins of Detroit; one grandchild, Jimmy (Cheryl) Robbins of Gibson; three step-grandchildren, Jeanna Thompson and Joyce Noles of Buena Vista and John Perry of Big Sandy."
