Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 8, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa with Fr. Bill L’Heureux celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, with a vigil service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until service time, all at the church. Theyron "John" Reynolds was born October 7, 1939, in a log cabin in Fayetteville, West Virginia, to Hilton and Bessie (Blake) Reynolds. He attended school in Oak Hill, West Virginia, where he graduated from Collins High School. John entered the United States Air Force on January 6, 1958 and was honorably discharged on March 3, 1961. He then attended a trade school for two years. John met Gloria Anderson in Lincoln, Nebraska, and the two were united in marriage on January 16, 1960, at Augustana Lutheran Church in Genoa, Nebraska. John worked for Dale Electronics in Columbus, Nebraska, most of his life. His job as an Automation Engineer took him to several plants around the world. Gloria died in 1991, and on July 18, 1997, John married Marjorie (Moser) Hynek-Daily. They made their home in North Bend, Nebraska. John enjoyed restoring cars, hunting, target shooting, and as a member of the Columbus Gun Club, refilling his own ammunition. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, and building things. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
