Private family burial will be held. Thomas was born in Omaha, NE, resided in Waterloo for some time and lived most of his life in Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Brown and parents. Memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday evening at Westover Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
