Read More	WORLD WAR II Son of Rufus Turner and Mamie Artilee Sparks Crouch, husband of Helen Harvey Johnson. GAINESVILLE - A leading Gainesville attorney and jurist, T. Allen Crouch, died Wednesday at Shands at AGH. Mr. Crouch, 80, practiced law in the area for more than 50 years and was a graduate of Gainesville High School and the University of Florida. He was born in Gainesville and was a lifelong resident. He was formerly First Judge of Small Claims Court of Alachua County, where he served nine years, and was a member and past president of the 8th Judicial Circuit Bar Association. He was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, the American Judiciary Society of America, Estate Planning Council of Gainesville, American Bar Association, Elks Lodge No. 990, Gainesville Moose Lodge, American Legion, the GHS Has Been Club and the Gainesville Lions Club. He was co-founder and director of United Community Fund of Greater Gainesville, now United Way of Alachua County, and Junior Achievement of North Central Florida. He was inducted into the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame in 1997 and was a board member of the Alzheimers Association. Mr. Crouch was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and served aboard the USS Frederick C. Davis, which was awarded the Navy unit citation for its action at Anzio Beach. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville and served on its board of deacons and trustees. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen J. Crouch. Survivors include his brother, S. Lee Crouch of Fort Myers; and sisters Madge Davenport Williams of Oriental, N.C., and Delma C. Nelson of Gainesville; Mr. T. Allen. Funeral services for Mr. Crouch, age 80, Attorney, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2002 at First Baptist Church of Gainesville, FL with Dr. John P. Fairless and Lynwood Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park-East, 3700 SE Hawthorne Rd., Gainesville, FL. Arrangements are under the care of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home. Mr. Crouch who lived in Gainesville, FL died on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 in Gainesville, FL. Published in the Florida Times-Union, November 2, 2002
