Description	:	Thomas Miller, a wealthy farmer of Persia, Ia., was found dead on the Burlington train from Kansas City that arrived in the city about 6 o’clock yesterday morning. Miller was thought by the members of the train crew to be asleep and when they attempted to awaken him made the discovery that he was dead. Miller was one of a party of five farmers from Harrison and Shelby counties that had been investigating Missouri land. Read More	Thomas Miller, a wealthy farmer of Persia, Ia., was found dead on the Burlington train from Kansas City that arrived in the city about 6 o’clock yesterday morning. Miller was thought by the members of the train crew to be asleep and when they attempted to awaken him made the discovery that he was dead. Miller was one of a party of five farmers from Harrison and Shelby counties that had been investigating Missouri land. The party left Kansas City last evening and consisted besides Miller, of George and Albert Roundy and Thomas Weatherbill of Panama, and Leonard Small of Portsmouth. Miller had secured an option upon a piece of land at a point south of Kansas City which he expected to purchase soon. He is fifty years of age. As soon as it was discovered that the body was dead it was removed to Cutler’s undertaking parlors and the relatives at Persia notified. The remains will be taken to that place this morning. Miller has two sons and one daughter* residing at Persia. He had recently been divorced from his wife. No inquest was held, as it is thought that Miller died from heart disease.
