He has been a resident of Fremont for the past twenty years, coming here in 1902. The deceased was born in Ireland on November 12, 1842. He has been a resident of Fremont for the past twenty years, coming here in 1902. The deceased was born in Ireland on November 12, 1842. After arriving in America he went into business and for some time conducted a store in North Bend. Surviving are one son, Hugh Copeland and one daughter, Mrs. M. C. Scott, both of this city. One grandson also survives. Funeral services will be held at the home next Thursday afternoon at three o’clock, Rev. R. V. Kearns officiating. Burial will be made in Ridge cemetery.
