Thomas is listed with a wife and no children on these census records. Although Thomas Dove, Jr never had children, he had plenty of nieces and nephews living near him to keep him busy. After Thomas Dove died about 1835, his wife, Elizabeth Dove, was recorded on the 1840 and 1850 Anderson County, SC Censuses. Mount Bethel Cemetery or vicinity is at the present time the most likely burial place for Thomas Dove, Jr and his wife, Elizabeth Dove. Thomas was living in Anderson County, SC when he died.
