Description	:	Mr. Parker was born June 25, 1927 to Tom and Dessie Lee Parker in Port St. Joe. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Port St. Joe where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Parker retired from St. Joe Paper Company after 44 years as a Chemist. He was a veteran in the United States Navy serving in WWII. Mr. Parker was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his four children: Donna Parker Capps and husband Donald of Satellite , FL, Joy Parker Underwood and husband John of Tallahassee, FL, Pam Parker Lawrence and husband Steve of Eufaula, AL, and Thomas Edward "Tres" Parker III and wife Pamela Barbaree of Troy, AL; four grandchildren Bryan Capps, Bradley Capps and wife Andrea, Kristi Lawrence Weeks and husband Billy, and Leigh Lawrence Parrish and husband Daniel; and four great grandchildren: Will Weeks, Ann Louise Weeks, Parker Capps, and Stella Capps. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. EST, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Port St. Joe with Rev. Boyd Evans and Teedy Nobles officiating. Entombment will follow at Holly Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. EST. prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Tom Parker to the Gulf County Historical Society for the lighthouse. Published in Panama City News Herald on December 13, 2016
