Myers, 83, who died in the Gordon, Nebr. hospital on July 25. Mr. Myers, son of Thomas M. and Sarah Clarke Myers was born in Brockway, Pa in 1876. About 1900 he went with his family to Montana where he worked for several years as a cowhand in north central Montana. He homesteaded near Belt. In 1908 he joined the forest service working in the Little Belt mountains. In 1910 he married Emily Irene McLaury. For 22 years they resided at the Judith ranger station. In 1931 he was transferred to Missoula, Mont. where he worked until he retired in 1938. Later he lived at Blairsburg, Ia. and several points in Florida, South Dakota and Nebraska. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and of Judith lodge No 88 F and AM at Hobson, Mont., having taken the E A F C and M M degrees. He is survived by one son Robert, Gordon, Nebr. and four grandchildren.
