Tom was born May 06, 1929, to George and Margaret "Peggy" (Watson) Brown at Brewster, Washington. The family moved to Leavenworth in 1935, and he graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1947. Tom worked for the US Postal Service from 1948 to 1984, and on January 15, 1949, he married his high school sweetheart Liz Bergren. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and a past member of the Leavenworth Sportsman Club. Survivors include his wife, Liz of the family home; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Phil Lopeman of East Wenatchee; brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Judy Brown of Wenatchee; three grandchildren, Patrick Lopeman and his wife Julie, Kurt Martin and his wife Dianne and Keith Martin and his wife Heather. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and good friends. At Tom's request there will be no public service. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Ward's Funeral Chapel of Leavenworth is handling the arrangements.
