Description	:	From The Wolbach Messenger, November 20, 1969, page 1, transcribed by Linda Berney: Thomas G. Nealon, 69, a prominent Greeley man, died on Thursday afternoon at a Lincoln hospital. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Nealon was born April 11, 1900 on a farm in Logan precinct to the late John and Anna Nealon. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Nealon was born April 11, 1900 on a farm in Logan precinct to the late John and Anna Nealon. He attended grade school in that area and high school at Creighton Prep in Omaha. On July 26, 1926 he was married to Marie Hansen at the Sacred Heart Church here by the late Father Feeney. Their first home was on a farm in the O'Connor area and they later lived on farms in the Brayton and Greeley area. He was employed by the ASC office in Greeley. In 1944 they moved to Greeley, where they have lived since. He was employed by the Farmers Home Administration for a number of years and was elected Greeley County Treasurer in 1954. He held the office for twelve years, retiring in 1966. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Thomas Jr. and Jack of Omaha; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Agnes Finnerty of Hastings, Mrs. Catherine Lingren of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Ruth Ann Barrett of Omaha, Mrs. Theresa Mahoney of Bluff City, Tennessee, and Mrs. Sharon Cheney of Lincoln; nineteen grandchildren and three brothers Frank and Paul of Rawlins, Wyoming, and Maurice of Aurora; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Meister of Grand Island.
