Description	:	Thomas Hanmer Bell 1958 Bridgewater Bulletin The death of Thomas Bell occurred on Tuesday, December 9th, at his home in New Germany after a lengthy illness. Mr. Bell was a highly respected citizen. Born at Liverpool, England, 77 years ago, he came to Canada at an early age. He was the son of the late James Crosfield and Elizabeth Mary (Hanmer) Bell. Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, the former Lalia Morton; two daughters, Doris (Mrs. Douglas Laidlaw), Kingston, Ontario; Evelyn (Mrs. Max Feindel), New Germany; one son, Crosfield, New Germany and by nine grandchildren. Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, the former Lalia Morton; two daughters, Doris (Mrs. Douglas Laidlaw), Kingston, Ontario; Evelyn (Mrs. Max Feindel), New Germany; one son, Crosfield, New Germany and by nine grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Florence Ireland, Cheam, Surrey, England. Three sisters and one brother predeceased him. The funeral was held Thursday, December 11th, from St.John's Anglican Church with Rev. Trueman ,officiating clergyman, conducting the service. Interment was in the Indian Brook Cemetery. The pallbearers were Stanley Silver, Robert Silver, Edwin Fancy, and Cecil Veinot. The floral tributes were beautiful testifying to the high esteem in which the deceased was held by relatives and friends. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
