Description	:	He immigrated with his family to the US, arriving in New York on the Guy Mannering on May 28, 1850. They first lived in Milwaukee, before settling in Michigan. After his father died in 1857, Thomas began working on farms in Calhoun County. He joined the Union on January 10, 1863. He was a sharp shooter in Regiment 1, Company D, Michigan, the same Regiment and Company as his brother, William. Thomas was shot at an armory in Washington, D.C. in June 1864.
