Rev. Mr. Skinner, of this city officiated and W. W. Edgington and others from this section were present. Mr. Poyner, owing to his advanced age, had been for sometime in a practically helpless condition and his death was not unexpected. Rev. Mr. Skinner, of this city officiated and W. W. Edgington and others from this section were present. Mr. Poyner, owing to his advanced age, had been for sometime in a practically helpless condition and his death was not unexpected. He was uncle of the Poyners referred to Saturday instead of their father. They are sons of James Poyner and the deceased was never married. He lived for years in James B. Edwards' family, both on a farm near Raymond and afterwards in that Village. As stated before, deceased came here in 1853 and has seen the development of the county to its present condition from almost a wilderness.
