Redding, of Markle, arrived in Bluffton this afternoon with the remains of his brother, Thomas Redding, who died Thursday at the East Haven Asylum at Richmond, where he had been confined for six or eight years, being a sufferer from epilepsy. Redding, of Markle, arrived in Bluffton this afternoon with the remains of his brother, Thomas Redding, who died Thursday at the East Haven Asylum at Richmond, where he had been confined for six or eight years, being a sufferer from epilepsy. Several weeks ago he fell and fractured a leg. That injury and others weakening processes brought about his death. The remains were taken to the home of Wesley A. Redding, a brother near Barbers Mills, nine miles west of Bluffton, and the burial and funeral services will take place from there. Complete arrangements cannot be announced today. Thomas Redding was about 35 years of age. He was the son of Thurston and Clara Redding, both deceased. His entire life was spent in the vicinity of Markle and in thewestern part of this county until mental disease made his confinement at East Haven advisable, his brother, Richard Redding of Maarkle was his guardian and cared for his small estate. The decedent is survived by the following brothers and sisters; R. W. Redding, of Markle; W. A. Redding, residing on the home place; jas Redding, of Tennessee; J. O. Redding, Mrs Rolli E. Johnston, who recently moved to Jennings County; Mrs Wade Hampton and Mrs Louis Sceasman. He was also related to Dan and E. A. Redding, of this city a nephew of the former and a cousin of the lattler.
