Howard Miller of the Huron Methodist Church in charge. Miss Robison died Wednesday, February 3, in St. John's hospital in Huron, from the effects of a stroke. She had been hospitalized only a day. She was born April 20, 1882, at Salix, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas and Lalita Robison. At an early age she moved with her parents to South Hand County. She attended Southern State Teachers College and taught school in the county for 27 years. She later kept house for an uncle in Hartley, Iowa for ten years before moving to Huron in 1943. At the time of her death she was living at 680 Idaho S.E. in Huron. She was a member of the Hebron Rebekah Lodge No. 18 in Miller, and an associate of Colfax Rebekah Lodge No. 9 in Huron, Ladies' Encampment Auxiliary and Ladies' Auxiliary Patriarchs Militant. She served as grand inside sentinel of the Gran Ladies encampment auxiliary in 1955-56. Surviving are her one sister, Mrs. Tabitha Grey of Miller; a brother, J. W. Robison, Hot Springs; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Laura Robison, Miller, and Mrs. Nellie Robison, Monrovia, Calif., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Lee De Moss, David and Thomas Robison.
