Read More	The Late Tom Hives After a period of nearly four years of suffering, borne with Christian fortitude, Tom Hives, of Horn Hill, a typical English gentleman of the old school, passed to his long rest in his 64th year. Deceased was born in Asforby, Leicestershire, England, where he was for many years engaged in milling on the river Wreak, a tributary of the Trent. He was a staunch member of the Church of England and was warden of All Saints' Church, Asfordby, one of the oldest churches in England, having been built over a thousand years ago, for seventeen years. Four years ago he came to Canada for his health, with his family, but while he gained in health for a time he sustained a stroke two years ago from which he never recovered, and a final stroke a short time ago put an end to his useful life on Sunday morning last. He leaves a devoted wife and a large family of thirteen children to mourn his loss, viz: Arthur Hives, Mrs. A. Walker, Mrs. N. Stewart, Penhold, Miss Nellie Hives, of the Memorial Hospital, Charles, of the Industrial School, Alfred, with Wilson Bros., Penhold, Tom, John, Ruth, Richard, Edward, Sidney and Kitty. The funeral will leave Stone's undertaking parlors this Wednesday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock for St. Luke's Church where service will be held after which interment will take place in Red Deer cemetery.
