Description	:	New Market--Tracy Livingston Pershing, 82, died at the West Heights Manor Wednesday where he had been taken after being hospitalized at the Municipal Hospital during recent weeks. Funeral services are to be Friday, the memorial service at Walker Funeral Home in Clarinda at 2 pm with the Rev George White of the New Market Methodist Church officiating. Mrs Verlin Larson will furnish music, and casket bearers chosen are George Slaight, Harvey Young, Merrill Webb, Albert Radke, Jake Stimson and Harold Graham. Mr Pershing was born June 2, 1888 in Illinois to Mr and Mrs Ben Pershing. He was married Dec 12, 1912 to Blanche Portlock who died in 1954. His two children are Mrs Phyllis Diggs and Alvin Pershing of New Market. He has two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. His two sisters are Mrs Jennie McAlpin of New Market and Mrs Stella Goldsmith of Seaside, Wash, and two brothers, Clyde of Villisca and Chester of Des Moines.
