Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Everett and Carrie (Wheelock) Rafuse. Surviving are his companion, Twila Neily, Coldbrook; daughters, Donna Brown, Kingston, Ont.; Bonnie (Darrell) Webber, Spruce Grove, Ont.; son, Gerald (Lou), Edmonton, Alta.; sister, Madeline (Lloyd) Westoll, Belleville, Ont.; brothers, Douglas (Kay), Kitchener, Ont.; Robert (Anna), Hamilton, Ont.; three granddaughters; one grandson; one great-grandson. He was predeceased by brothers, Paul and David; one brother and one sister, both in infancy. Kingston Branch 98, Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service at 7 p.m. today and a funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, both in the Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Donations in memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
