Description	:	Services for Troy Alan Eaton, 33, of Bouton, were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday August 11, at the Hastings Funeral Home in Perry, Iowa. Mr. Eaton died in a drowning accident on Saturday, August 7, 1999 in Greene County. Pastor Clifford Haider of the Minburn United Methodist Church officiated at the services. Music was provided by organist Judy Ohrt ad soloist Bruce Brown. Troy Eaton, son of Dennis and Sandra Kaye (Mohr) Eaton, was born January 27, 1966 in Perry, Iowa Troy lived with his parents in Bouton. He attended the Minburn Community School System, graduating in 1985. He later attended National College in Rapid City, SD. Troy worked as a carpenter framing houses for Crase Construction, Baine's Construction and later Sheets Construction. His first love was rodeoing, which he did for a living when not doing construction. He went on trail rides, enjoyed camping and fishing and also had enjoyed wrestling and football in high school. Preceding Troy in death was his mother, Sandra on December 25, 1998; his maternal grandfather, Arnold Mohr; and paternal grandmother, Velma Eaton. Survivors include his father; three brothers, Kevin and Cindy Eaton of DeSoto, IA Brad and Susan Eaton of Ankeny and Craig and Lisa Jones of Winterset; his grandfather, Lyle Eaton of Wall Lake; his grandmother, Lucille Mohr of Woodward; numerous aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
