Description	:	Twila Izetta (Hildreth) Christianson, age 90, daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Riley) Hildreth of Pisgah, Iowa passed away quietly January 28, 2009, at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. She graduated from Pisgah High School and spent her adulthood living in Council Bluffs. She worked at various industries in Omaha, Neb. As a devoted wife and mother, she maintained a fine household, and she was known for her vegetable garden and baked goods. Twila particularly enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, raising her daughter, family-driving trips around the countryside, and visiting California. Twila was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Clyde A. Christianson in 1998; and by her siblings, Eva, Adophus, Charles and Lottie. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Lee Elizondo of Stockton, Calif.; granddaughter, Gina Veronica Gonzalez-Wilson and husband William Kurt Wilson; great grandchildren, Alejandrina T. Wilson and Andrew H. Wilson all of Grand Prairie, Texas; along with a large extended family of nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family, Sunday, Noon-1:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral service, Sunday, 1:00 p.m. at the mortuary with Rev. Dr. Eberhard A. Hering officiating. Twila has chosen to rest next to her husband at Valley View Cemetery, Persia, Iowa.
