Ula Maren Jensen was born March 19,1926 on a farm in the Skeedee community South of St. Edward Nebraska to Christian M. and Thora J. (Rasmussen) Jensen. She attended elementary school in rural Boone County and graduated from St. Edward High School in 1943. She married Rodney E. Jacobson on October 11,1945 in St. Edward. She was a homemaker and worked at Becton-Dickenson and Columbus Laundry. She was a past member of the U & I extension club and was an avid duplicate bridge player, obtaining the rank of life master. She and her husband enjoyed many years of snow birding to Mesa, AZ until they were no longer able to make the long trip. She enjoyed drawing and oil painting and spending time with her family and pets. Ula is survived by: Son: David (Betty) Jacobson of Platte Center, NE Son: Chris Jacobson of Kearney, NE Son: James (Sandra) Jacobson of Bremerton, WA Son in Law: John Rains of Scottsdale, AZ Brother in Law: Dale Muckey of Columbus, NE Sister in Law: Loraine Jacobson of Sterling, CO 11 Grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and Many nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by: Husband: Rodney E.
