Description	:	Mr. Uless Edwards, 78, of Cana, VA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, October 24, 2020. He was born September 10, 1942, in Carroll County, VA, to the late Clark and Bertha Akers Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a kind, gentle man with a strong love for his family. After working in various auto body shops, Uless opened his own, where he continued to work until retirement. Read More	Mr. Uless Edwards, 78, of Cana, VA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, October 24, 2020. He was born September 10, 1942, in Carroll County, VA, to the late Clark and Bertha Akers Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a kind, gentle man with a strong love for his family. After working in various auto body shops, Uless opened his own, where he continued to work until retirement. Because of his dedication to his community, Mr. Edwards was a member of the Cana Volunteer Fire Department and one of the charter members of the Cana Volunteer Rescue Squad. He was a long-time member of Paul’s Creek Baptist Church, but recently he was attending Crooked Oak Moravian Church. He was a Past Master of Round Peak Masonic Lodge #616 AF and AM. Mr. Edwards is survived by his loving wife, Ruthie Easter Edwards; a son, Jeffrey Keith Edwards and his wife, Charity, along with their children, Isaiah and Jude; a son, Michael Shane Edwards and his wife, Shawna, and her children, Morgan Williams and Abby Leonard; a sister, Brenda Gould; and a brother, Benny Edwards. In addition to his parents, Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by two sisters, Mazie Berrier and Dot Schurter; and three brothers, Willie, Charles, and Vaudy Edwards. A celebration of life service is being planned for November 7th, 2:00 at Crooked Oak Moravian. Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
