She is survived by her children, Becky Buck of Wenatchee and DeeDee McFarland of Tonasket; her mother, Bonnie Davis of Pine Creek; her sisters, Deena Call of Pine Creek and LeAnn Eastwood of Tonasket; her brothers, Kelly Davis and Glenn Davis, both of Pine Creek, and David Daniels of Malott. Pine Creek 1962-2008 Valerie Lynell Davis passed away at her home on Pine Creek. She was born on December 27, 1962 to Vernon Davis and Bonnie (Ingram) Davis in Omak, Wash. Valerie graduated from Tonasket High School in 1982 and joined the National Guard. She loved the outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing and going for long peaceful drives in the mountains. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, writing poems, and the nieces and nephews said that she threw the best sleigh riding parties ever. Valerie was preceded in death by her father, Vernon in 1993. Val is survived by her mother, Bonnie, of Pine Creek; two sisters, Deena and her husband, Tom, Call of Pine Creek and LeAnn Eastwood of Tonasket; three brothers, Kelly Davis and his wife, Mona, of Pine Creek, Glenn Davis from Pine Creek and David Daniels and his wife, Pam, of Malott; two daughters, Becky Buck and her husband, Erick, Martin of Wenatchee and DeeDee McFarland of Tonasket; three grandchildren, Erin, Eric and Salena; and her close friend and loving companion, Jimmy Joe Kerns of Pine Creek. Services were held at Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel, 2547 Elmway, Okanogan at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 4. A dinner followed at the Mormon Church corner of Engh and Keller Rd., Omak.
