Description	:	HICKSVILLE - Valetta K. Wetzel, 94, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at Hickory Creek in Hicksville. Born June 21, 1911, to Mayda (Hook) and Albert Snell, she married Miller J. Crall who died in 1953. She later married Charles Wetzel and he died in 1987. A 1930 graduate of Hicksville High School, she retired from Crook-Miller Handle Factory in Hicksville. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Hicksville. Survivors include her son, Earl (and wife, Anna) Crall of Hicksville; two grandchildren, Eric (Jill) Crall of Hicksville and Carlene Crall of Billings, Mont.; and four great-grandchildren, Sam, Aubrie, Garrett and Molly. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Hicksville. Survivors include her son, Earl (and wife, Anna) Crall of Hicksville; two grandchildren, Eric (Jill) Crall of Hicksville and Carlene Crall of Billings, Mont.; and four great-grandchildren, Sam, Aubrie, Garrett and Molly. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3-8 p.m. in the Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Tom Graves to officiate. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville. Memorials may be made to Hospice, The Caring Way, of Defiance or the Trinity United Methodist Church.
