Services are Monday at GSV All Saints Chapel in Hastings with the Rev Bill Liddell officiating. Burial will be in the Holstein Cemetery. Mrs Fair was born Jan 27, 1911, to Edward F and Blanch R (Simon) Marchand in Fairfield County, Ohio. She moved with her family in 1915 to Naponee. Mrs Fair was born Jan 27, 1911, to Edward F and Blanch R (Simon) Marchand in Fairfield County, Ohio. She moved with her family in 1915 to Naponee. She lived in Alma, York, Blue Springs, Barado and Woodruff, Kan., before moving to Holstein in 1928. She graduated from Holstein high School in 1929. On April 8, 1929, she married James Keith Fair in Kenesaw. They lived in Hardy until 1931 when they returned to Holstein. She worked at the Naval Ammunition Depot near Hastings during World War II. She later worked as a cook at the Holstein School. On Feb 22, 1980, her husband died. She moved to Hastings in March 1999. Survivors are one sister, Hazel Schukei of Hastings; two brothers Dwight of Jacksonville, Fla., and Virgil o Shawnee Mission, Kan.; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren She is preceded in death by two daughters, Marguerite Frances Mangers, and Donna Lee Capps; one son, Gary Allen; three sisters and four brothers. Jackson-Wilson Funeral Home of Kenesaw is in charge of arrangements.
