Description	:	Velda Ramser Velda Ramser, 75 of Presho, died on Thursday, October 28 at the Golden Living Center. Services will be at 2:00 pm Monday, November 1 at the Presho United Methodist Church with visitation starting one hour prior to the services. After high school she and several cousins traveled to the... Read More	Velda Ramser Velda Ramser, 75 of Presho, died on Thursday, October 28 at the Golden Living Center. Burial will be at Presho City Cemetery Velda was born on February 11, 1935 to Lloyd and Vivian (Hiserote) McClanahan in Winner, SD. She attended Star Prairie Country School in Carter, SD before moving to live with her sister Reva and brother-in-law Bill in Winner to finish high school. After high school she and several cousins traveled to the west coast and lived in Portland, OR for a while. She moved to Presho and began working for her brother, Garold at Hutches Cafe, where she met Carl "Kelly" Ramser. They married in Las Vegas, NV on October 4, 1969. At that time Velda and family moved to a farm south of Kennebec, SD and then a few years later to a farm south of Presho where they farmed and ranched for 20 years. Velda kept the house and also helped out on the farm and ranch doing what was necessary. Kelly passed away in 1987 and Velda moved into Presho. Velda enjoyed gardening, puzzles, traveling, gambling and most recently her two house cats – Crackers and Yodo. In recent years Velda enjoyed going to Hutches to play the video lottery machines and visit with Heidi McClanahan. Velda also enjoyed the many tasty treats that Tami McClahnahan supplied. Survivors include her daughters: Kim McIntosh (Larry Turgeon) of Pierre, Dawn (Jim) Worlie of Hartford and Kelly Ramser of Presho; son Shayne McIntosh of Parkston; grandchildren: Jaron and Talon Worlie of Hartford, Ketch Ramser of Presho, Landry, Bennett and Liam McIntosh of Parkston and Blaire Jonas of Pierre; her siblings: Reva VanPatten of Winner, Sharon Quick of Hinton, IA, Roger McClanahan of Virgil and Kenneth McClanahan of Gillette, WY and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was precede in death by her husband Carl, brother Garold McClanahan, sister Mavis Soles and her parents.
