This morning, shortly after 2 o'clock, death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Orr, of Kempton, and claimed their six-year-old daughter Velma, the child dying of meningitis, after an illness of two weeks. Sadness in the Home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Orr of Kempton. This morning, shortly after 2 o'clock, death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Orr, of Kempton, and claimed their six-year-old daughter Velma, the child dying of meningitis, after an illness of two weeks. The child is survived by one brother and two sisters, in addition to her twin sister, Thelma. The parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Orr have the sympathy of all in their sad bereavement, as the child was a favorite of all. The mother of the child was formerly Miss Chloe Stroup. Velma and Thelma Orr, twin sisters, were known throughout that community as "Jimmy" and "Fatty," and the children attracted attention wherever they were, being exceptionally beautiful youngters with a peculiarly beautiful shade of blonde hair. About two weeks ago, both became ill, and "Jimmy" grew rapidly worse despite the efforts of the attending physicians. The other twin is still ill, but is reported to be improving.
