Description	:	Velma V. Williams Park Ricketts, 81, of Vevay, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, at King's Daughters' Hospital. She was born March 27, 1928, in Switzerland County, the daughter of Orville and Lela M. Banta Williams. She worked for five years at U.S. Shoe Corp. in Vevay and then transferred to U.S. Shoe Corp. in Madison, where she was final inspector. She retired in 1992 after 35 years of service. Williams Park Ricketts, 81, of Vevay, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, at King's Daughters' Hospital. She was born March 27, 1928, in Switzerland County, the daughter of Orville and Lela M. Banta Williams. She worked for five years at U.S. Shoe Corp. in Vevay and then transferred to U.S. Shoe Corp. in Madison, where she was final inspector. She retired in 1992 after 35 years of service. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Kay McKee of San Antonio, Texas, and Renee Deems of Vevay; one son, Larry M. Park of Madison; one step daughter, Deborah K. Minton of Salem; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one niece. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Clay Park Jr., whom she married June 5, 1945, and who died Sept. 15, 1955; her second husband, Frank Dunn Jr., whom she married in 1956; her third husband, Herman L. Ricketts, whom she married in 1966 and who died May 21, 2001; her parents; and one brother, Marshall B. Williams, who died June 5, 1945. The funeral was at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay.
