Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Anthon, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with Father A. Conlon officiating. Burial was in Mt. St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery under direction of Hudgel Funeral Home. Mrs. Dixon was born May 31, 1886, at Neola, Iowa. She was married February 27, 1906, at Neola to John J. Dixon. Mr. Dixon died April 24, 1928. She was a member of Court Holy Rosary, Catholic Daughters of America, St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Anthon Legion Auxiliary. A son, Cletus, was killed in 1943 in the Pacific area while serving in the Navy. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Glen Weber and Mrs. Thomas Coyne, both of Anthon; Mrs. Paul O'Connell of Smithland; Mrs. Robert Lacey of Sioux City; six sons, Edward, Francis and James, all of Anthon; Leo of Bronson; Paul of Sterling, Colorado; and Raymond; three brothers, Frank Clark of Lyons, Colorado; Lee Clark of Chappell, Nebraska; and Vern of Neola, plus 44 grandchildren.
