Brown, and daughter of Joseph Mathieu of Stratford, passed away Tuesday evening at Stratford, after a short illness. The deceased is one of the well known women of the county and her death is deeply mourned by a large circle of friends besides her husband, Paul H. Brown, a two weeks old daughter, two brothers, Junior and Ben Mathieu of Stratford, and a sister Mrs. W. H. Rock, of Groton. Funeral services will be held from the home of her father 7 miles southeast of Stratford, Rev.
