The Allen County, Ky. native was a homemaker and member of Scottsville General Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Asberry Wilson Pearson and Pearlie Lucilla Pruitt Pearson and wife of the late Paul Stovall. She is survived by four sons, Sam Stovall and wife, Barbara, of Scottsville, Ky., Dee Stovall and wife, Joyce, of Greenfield, Ind; John Stovall and wife, Pat of Louisville, Ky. and Jack Stovall and wife, Ann, of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Edye Short of Bowling... She is survived by four sons, Sam Stovall and wife, Barbara, of Scottsville, Ky., Dee Stovall and wife, Joyce, of Greenfield, Ind; John Stovall and wife, Pat of Louisville, Ky. and Jack Stovall and wife, Ann, of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Edye Short of Bowling Green, Ky. and Ruby Douglas and husband, Morris, of Mooresville; daughter-in-law, Judy Britt Stovall of Scottsville, Ky.; 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Carl Stovall, Albert Stovall and Frank "Pete" Stovall; four grandchildren; three brothers, Elgar Pearson, Ernest Pearson and Robert Pearson; and two sisters, Hallie Counts and Loretta Pearson. Funeral services for Vera Pearson Stovall were 11 a.m. Monday, April 21 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro.
