Description	:	Funeral services for Vera Mae Neugebauer were held Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Dimock, with the Rev. David Otten officiating. Interment was made in the church cemetery with Koehn Bros. Funeral Home, Parkston, in charge of arrangements. Casketbearers were Steve Herrmann, Collin Neugebauer, Kendra Neugebauer, Lakini Neugebauer, Jennifer Herrmann, Brittney Neugebauer, Skylar Neugebauer, Landon Neugebauer, and Kade Neugebauer. Vera Mae Neugebauer was born June 8, 1934, to Erma Bendusch, Clayton. She attended Longfellow Elementary in Mitchell and eventually Mitchell High School, graduating in 1952. Vera Mae Neugebauer was born June 8, 1934, to Erma Bendusch, Clayton. She attended Longfellow Elementary in Mitchell and eventually Mitchell High School, graduating in 1952. She married Kenneth Neugebauer on June 27, 1954, at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Dimock. For two years they lived on a farm 13 miles southwest of Mitchell and then moved to a farm west of Dimock and lived and farmed there until 1998. She was active serving as secretary of the LWML zone and the association and local bowling leagues. She was also a member and officer of the Immanuel Lutheran Ladies Aid. She died Friday, July 23, at Avera St. Benedict Hospital, Parkston, at the age of 70 years. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, Parkston; four sons, Dan Neugebauer and wife, Connie, Parkston, Rick Neugebauer and wife, Danna Jo, Mitchell, Perry Neugebauer and wife, Raema, Mitchell, and Mike Neugebauer and wife, Bridget, Mitchell; grandchildren, Jennifer Herrmann and husband, Steve, Collin, Brittney, Kendra, Skylar, Lakin, Landon, and Kade Neugebauer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Erma Miller; and step-father, Wayne Miller. Parkston Advance 11 Aug 2004
