Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. A daughter of Frank and Louisa (Schenking) Friedman, she was born on March 30, 1913, at Roselle. She was raised in the Roselle and Halbur area and attended Holy Angels and St. Augustine schools, along with St. Angela's Academy. On April 23, 1935, she and Orlando Eich were married at St. Augustine Church in Halbur. The couple lived in Carroll and Mrs. Eich worked at the J.C. Penney and Menke Hardware stores in Carroll. She moved to Carroll Manor in 1997. Mrs. Eich was a member of St. Lawrence Parish and its ladies guild. Survivors include her husband, Orlando, of Carroll; a son, Gene Eich and his wife, Marlene, of Ankeny; two daughters, Sharon Kroeger and her husband, Arnold, of Brandon, Fla. and Kathy Brown and her husband, Jerry, of Buyck, Minn.; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Walter Friedman and his wife, Louise, of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Bernice Majewski of MilwaukeeWis.; and a sister-in-law, Jeanetta Friedman of Glenwood Springs, Colo. Mrs. Eich was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Laura Friedman; and two brothers, Father Lcander Friedman and Dean Friedman.
