Pflug, Power Firm Employe, Killed on Cedar Bluffs Job Cedar Bluffs, Neb., April 23 (AP) ---- Vern Pflug; Valley, employe of the Nebraska Power company, was electrocuted working on a pole three miles east of here tonight. Pflug was taking a transformer of the pole near the farm home of Roy Blair. The Blair family said two wires became crossed over his chest as he was holding one in each hand. He was shocked with 7,600 volts of electricity. Power company employes administered artificial respiration for more than two hours in an attempt to revive him. County Attorney Charles H. Hood of Wahoo came here to investigate the death. Pflug had replaced the old transformer and was working on the new one when the accident occurred. County Attorney Charles Hood of Wahoo said Pflug was alone on the pole. It is presumed that wires became crossed. they carried 7,600 volts. A fellow worker unhooked the belt and took Pflug to the ground. Artificial respiration was applied by power company employes for more than two hours. Pflug is survived by his wife and two children Jackie and Jerry Lou [Jack and Jerri Lou]. The body is at the Bader funeral home in Fremont.
