Description	:	Verna Hudspith, 79, of Ames died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Ames, of which she was a member. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Valley View Cemetery in Persia. Mrs. Hudspith was born in Logan and had lived in Ames for 40 years. She was a retired dietitian with the Ames Community Preschool.
