Read More	Verona Loraine (Glause) Seim, of Chapman, Nebraska, passed away, October 10, 2009, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Verona was born on October 23, 1930, at home in Merrick County, Nebraska close to Worms, Nebraska to Philip William and Stella Rosa (Wagner) Glause. She grew up in the Worms, Nebraska community and received her education at Zion Lutheran School in Worms, Nebraska, Concordia Lutheran High School in Seward, Nebraska and St. Paul, Nebraska High School. After high school, she attended college at Nebraska Teachers College in Central City, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to LeRoy J. Seim on October 2, 1949, in Worms, Nebraska. The couple made their home in the Worms, Nebraska community, where she taught school for two years at a rural Howard County school. She found joy in being a homemaker, raising their family and helping LeRoy in the farming operation. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, a member of Dorcas Ladies Aid, the church choir, she taught Sunday school, and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Extension Club. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crewel embroidery. She especially enjoyed and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Before her death, Verona wrote "I thank God I was brought to Him by my parents and had all these years to have my Savior in my heart and life." Survivors include her husband of 60 years, LeRoy Seim of Chapman, Nebraska; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Chelley Seim of Grand Island, Nebraska, Kenyon and Cheryl Seim and Robyn and Betty Seim, all of Chapman, Nebraska; daughter and son-in-law, Jacquelyn (Seim) and Allan Roth of Seward, Nebraska; brothers and sisters-in-law, Loy and Jeanie Glause of Palmer, Nebraska, Larry and Myrna Glause, Andy and Jeanette Glause and Paul and Marie Glause, all of St. Libory, Nebraska; sister in-law, Janice Wieck of St. Libory, Nebraska; and sister and brother-in-law, Naomi and Robert Rouse Sr. of Tucson, Arizona and a host of friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, William, Clayton and Gene Glause; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Janet Seim.
