She leaves to mourn her passing her mother and father, Frieda and Robert Stanley of Elsie, Nebraska; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Fletcher of Wauneta; grandmother, Mrs. Edith Schrader of St. Francis, Kansas; two great grandmothers, Mrs. Mable Grummon of St. Francis, Kansas, Mrs. Alice Fletcher of Palisade, Nebraska; her aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hill of Wauneta, Nebraska; Mr. and Mrs. John Hankins, Darlene Schrader, and Dale Stanley, all of St. Francis, Kansas; Allen Stanley of the United States Navy, and a host of other relatives and friends. * * * * * * "One little soul gone on before, Waiting upon the golden shore Two little arms out-stretched to me, Waiting to welcome me over the sea. Now soon will dawn a happy day We'll meet our baby Vickey Deanna. She has been released from death and pain, We know in Christ she will live again. And can I meet my baby's eyes And bear the load of sad surprise, If I have failed upon my way To prepare for a home in eternal day. Oh, how we miss her none can tell Still can we hear the funeral knell But before we leave this mortal breath We'll find there are things much worse than death. For death in innocence of life, Eternal with storm or strife, Oh, help us Lord to live in grace, That we may see our Baby's face." Funeral services were held Sunday, October 17, at the Blanche Church with Rev. D. G. Wine delivering the sermon. Mrs. Dale Theobald and Mrs. Ray McConnell sang, accompanied by Miss Enid McConnell. The pallbearers were Wilford and Johnnie O'Neil. Interment was in the Blanche Cemetery with Luhrs Service of Imperial in charge. * Burial was originally at Blanche Cemetery, but later was moved to Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial, Nebraska next to her father.
