Hudnell Sr., 42, of Glen Apartments, Glouster, died Monday in O'Bleness Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in Athens County, he formerly lived in the Athens area. Mr. Hudnell was a member of the Grace Wesleyan Church. He was a graduate of Waterloo High School and served in the Ohio National Guard. He was employed by the McBee Co. for 16 years until forced to retire because of ill health. He is survived by his wife, Delores Davis Hudnell; a daughter, Christine, at home; three sons, Victor L. Jr. of Glouster; Stanley E., with the Army in Germany; and Gregory F., at home; his father, Hollie M. Hudnall and his step-mother Marcella Hudnall, Athens; two sisters. Mrs. Everett (Rose) Bell, Chauncey, and Mrs. Larry (Edna) Bailey, Mansfield; five brothers, Holly and Jack R., both of Athens Route 1; Garrett of Athens Route 2; Sfc. Rudolph, with the Army Recruiting Service, Marion; and Sherman of Lancaster; a grandchild, four stepbrothers and four step-sisters. He was preceded in death by his mother, Leora Secoy Hudnall and an infant sister, Della Mae. Arrangements will be announced by the Jagers and Sons Funeral Home pending arrival of a son from Germany.
