Victor was born January 12, 1912 in Quarry, Iowa the son of Anton and Viktorie (Kaplan) Vokoun. He was raised in Quarry and graduated from the LeGrand High School. On March 24, 1939 in Kirksville, Missouri, Victor was united in marriage to Almeata Trout. Following their marriage they made their home in Quarry, Iowa where they raised their family. Victor was born January 12, 1912 in Quarry, Iowa the son of Anton and Viktorie (Kaplan) Vokoun. He was raised in Quarry and graduated from the LeGrand High School. On March 24, 1939 in Kirksville, Missouri, Victor was united in marriage to Almeata Trout. Following their marriage they made their home in Quarry, Iowa where they raised their family. Victor was employed by the Chicago Northwestern Railroad before going to work for Lennox Industries. He retired from Lennox Industries in 1974. Victor and his wife moved to Marshalltown in 1993. During his earlier years Victor enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and woodworking. Victor also enjoyed spending time with the Marshalltown Mall Walkers Group. Victor is survived by his two daughters Karon (Mrs. LeRoy) Hoskey of Chelsea, Iowa, and Teresa (Mrs. Edwin) Vokoun-Siems of Marshalltown, his son Victor (Ann) Vokoun of Toledo, his two sisters Martha Shibe and Laura Roberts both of Marshalltown, his seven grandchildren: Mark, Ron, Tamara, Mike, Jodi, Todd and Kristi and his eleven great-grandchildren: Erica, Jessica, Keaten, Kamryn, Joseph, John, JJ, Josh, Jade, Nathaniel, and Nicholas. Victor was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Almeata, his brother Eddie and his sisters Helen, Emily and Adelaide.
