Description	:	Biographical Information Vida Mae (Hamilton) Myers was the daughter of Frank and Ada Iola (Speer) Hamilton. She was born April 20, 1924, near Rushville, Nebraska and grew up near Gordon. She attended rural school near the family home, and attended three years at Omaha Bible College. It was while in college that she met her future husband, Gerald, who was a fellow student. The couple was married in Omaha on March 11, 1950 and had three children. Read More	Biographical Information Vida Mae (Hamilton) Myers was the daughter of Frank and Ada Iola (Speer) Hamilton. She was born April 20, 1924, near Rushville, Nebraska and grew up near Gordon. She attended rural school near the family home, and attended three years at Omaha Bible College. It was while in college that she met her future husband, Gerald, who was a fellow student. The couple was married in Omaha on March 11, 1950 and had three children. Vida and Jerry lived in numerous places prior to purchasing a farm and settling near Creighton in 1965. Vida sold Avon, taught Sunday school, and was a caregiver for many years. She was a member of Norfolk Baptist Church. She was a very sociable person, and also enjoyed her flowers and garden. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Alvin and Gerold Hamilton; and infant sister, Emma Jean. She was survived by her husband, three children, seven grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as four sisters. Ms. Vida passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Avera Creighton Care Center. *********************************************
