The family requests memorials to be made to the Vincent Dolan Memorial Fund. Mr. Dolan was born in 1914 in Dougherty, the son of John and Elizabeth (Brinkman) Dolan. He graduated from St. Patrick's School, Dougherty, and served as a technical sergeant in the Air Force during World War II. He married Mary Ellen McGee in 1948 in Dougherty, and moved to Waterloo in 1948 where he worked for the John Deer Co. They moved back to Dougherty in 1951, and farmed until retiring in 1972. They moved to Rockwell in 1973. Mr. Dolan was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rockwell, and the Rockwell American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen; three sons, Joe, Dubuque, Dennis, Madison, Wis. and Tim, Davenport; one grandson and one granddaughter; two sisters, Mary Dolan, Nora Springs, and Mrs. Donald (Carmille) Ullrich, Elm Grove, Wis.; and three brothers, John, Cedar Rapids, Adrian, Marble Rock, and Leonard, South Daytona Beach, Fla.
