Raised & educated in Hingham, Montana, graduated from Hingham High School in 1951. Married Audrey M. Michaelson in 1951 & lived on a farm north of Hingham where they raised a family of 5 daughters. Divorced in 1966. Vince later lived in Libby, Columbia Falls, and Seattle, where he married Francis Knott. This marriage ended in divorce. Worked in construction in Alaska.
