'''''''''''''' October 5, 1929, p. 8, col. 2 Funeral at Krakow – The funeral of Mrs. Alois Liss, of Columbus, who died Thursday at St. Joseph’s hospital in Denver, where she had been a patient since April, will be held at the Krakow Catholic church at 9 a.m. Monday. The body was removed today from the Gass funeral home to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brezinski, who reside seven miles west of Silver Creek. As Viola Brezinski, she was born in Silver Creek on Sept. 8, 1905, where she lived for many years. Her marriage to Mr. Liss took place there on Oct. 10, 1922. She is survived by her husband, two children, Effie, who is five years old, and Elaine, a babe of 14 months. She also leaves her parents, six sisters and a brother, Mrs. Joseph Small of Clarks; Mrs. Walter Ahrens, of Columbus; Miss Sally Brezinski, of Fremont; Barbara, Eleanor, Florence and Emil Brezinski, all at home. The pastor of the church officiated and burial was made in the cemetery there. The pallbearers were Joseph, Frank and Henry Konwinski, of Fullerton, Steve, Alois and Theodore Brezinski, of Silver Creek. Relatives attending the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lacoma, Mrs. Joseph Sorys, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zabroski, all of Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. James Wajda and family, of Arcadia; Mrs. John Mamishoff, of Council Bluffs; Nick List and C. Wright, of Sioux City, Ia.
