Mrs. Conway, who was Miss Viola Carter before her marriage, was born in Oskaloosa, Illinois, December 14, 1863. She came to Iowa at the age of three years and in 1885 was married at West Side to Richard Conway. Mrs. Conway was a member of the Rebekah order of this city, a splendid neighbor and an excellent home maker. She is survived by four children, three sons and one daughter, Roy, Guy, Lynn and Florence. She also is survived by her mother and the following, brothers and sisters: Mrs. Hattie Hughes, of Kansas City; Mrs. Emma Brogram, of Tilden, Neb; Will Carter, of Albia, Neb.; Mart Carter, of Indiana; Mrs. Mary Smith, of Boise, Idaho; Dr. Thomas Carter, of Chicago, and Edward Carter, of Ogden, Utah. The funeral services will be held at the home Friday morning at 9 o'clock. Rev. Homer S. Baumgardner will have charge. Interment will be made in the city cemetery.
