Chadwick, 87, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ideal Rest home, 309 Richmond avenue. She had suffered a long illness. She was born in Keokuk county February 20, 1874, a daughter of William and Susane Terrell Ulin. She had lived in Ottumwa 56 years. She belonged to the Benton Street Presbyterian church. She and George Chadwick were married August 19, 1891, in Hedrick. He died in 1910. A daughter, a son, two sisters, and two brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Odie Newell of Ottumwa; a granddaughter, Mrs. Viola James of Ottumwa; two grandsons, Norman Frost of Ottumwa and Dwight Frost of Floris; a brother, Tom Terrell of Hutchinson, Kan.; a half-sister Mrs. Nell Utterback of Moravia; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson funeral chapel. The Rev. Carl Linder of St. Paul's Lutheran church will be in charge. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be Milwaukee employees.
